Можно варить ячневую кашу на воде, а можно– на молоке.

В каждом из этих случаев нужно помнить следующее:

Ячневая крупа варится достаточно долго, поэтому лучше всего– особенно при нехватке времени– делать это в духовке или мультиварке.
Ячневая крупа очень сильно разваривается, увеличиваясь в объеме до пяти раз!
Жидкости нужно ровно в два раза больше, чем самой крупы. То есть если вы планируете брать 1 стакан ячменя, вам понадобятся 2 стакана воды или молока.

Способ приготовления:
1. Ячмень промыть и залить водой или молоком.
2. Поставить на средний огонь и варить примерно полчаса после того, как каша закипит.
3. По истечении этого времени кашу посолить, закрыть крышкой, укутать и оставить «доходить» еще четверть часа.
4. Готовую кашу заправить сливочным маслом.
