Как консервировать кукурузуМногие домохозяйки, делающие заготовки овощей, задаются вопросом о том, как консервировать кукурузу на зиму. Рецептов предостаточно. Попробуем рассмотреть два наиболее популярных.

Консервируем без уксуса

Выбираем хорошие початки, очищаем и отбираем целые зерна.

На 1 литр воды подготавливаем:

  • 1 столовую ложку соли;
  • 3 чайные ложки сахара.

Зерна кукурузы бланшируем пару-тройку минут, потом резко окунаем в ледяную воду, тем самым мы сохраняем хруст и вкус кукурузы. Бланшированные зерна укладываем в банки, обработанные паром, и заливаем готовым горячим рассолом. Банки стерилизуем. Литровые банки стерилизуем примерно минут  сорок. Закрываем банки. Теперь необходимо их резко охладить, после чего можно хранить в шкафу или кладовке.

Данный рецепт позволяет сохранить не только вкусовые качества кукурузы, но и ее полезные свойства.

Консервируем с добавлением уксуса

Второй вариант немного отличается от первого. Изначально варим початки, остужаем, срезаем зерна и укладываем в банки.

На пятьсотграммовую банку необходимо:

  • 2 столовые ложки сахара без горки;
  • половина столовой ложки соли;
  • 1 десертная ложка уксуса.

К кукурузе, в банку, добавляем сахар и соль, стерилизуем чуть более часа и только после добавляем уксус, а затем все закатываем. Накрываем одеялом или теплыми вещами и ждем до полного остывания.

Как видите, ничего сложного в том, чтобы консервировать кукурузу, нет.

Также кукурузу можно консервировать целиком. При таком методе на заготовки идут совсем молоденькие маленькие початочки. Принцип  консервации такой же, как и при приготовлении зерен.
